MISSISSAUGA, ONT (April 11, 2017) – Veritiv Corporation (NYSE: VRTV), a North American leader in business-to-business distribution solutions, today announced its sponsorship of the 2017 Wayward Arts project. The project features the work of some of Canada’s leading design firms.
The Wayward Arts project highlights the creative capabilities of the participating agencies and partners, while showcasing a variety of paper and substrates. Since 2007, the Wayward Arts project has brought together Canada’s top graphic design agencies – and Flash Reproductions, a leading print service provider – to produce a bi-monthly creative magazine. Veritiv provides the print material for each issue. The first issue of this year’s series will launch later this month, and each issue will feature the work of a different award winning Canadian design studio.
This year, in recognition of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, the Wayward Arts project theme is ‘Canada’. Each issue of the series will feature a letter from the word ‘Canada’, and a commemorative case has been created for the six scheduled issues. The creative direction and production will be led by the following design agencies: Paprika, Montreal; Wax, Calgary; St. Bernadine, Vancouver; and Good & Services, Hambly & Woolley; and Underline Studio, Toronto.
“This collaboration of these studios, under the direction of Flash Reproductions, is a unique undertaking. This project highlights Veritiv’s unique relationship with designers across the country, and we are proud to have a part in helping to showcase Canada’s talented design agencies,” said Jason Alderman, Regional Vice President – Canada for Veritiv.
